The American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s) choose Crowd Convergence as the social media partner for their 2014 Strategy Festival. This is the forth time 4A’s and Crowd Convergence have worked together and the results continue to impress industry heavyweights and engage the 4A’s audience. Crowd Convergence developed a custom 4As Strategy Festival Tweet Timeline optimised for projection.
4As Strategy Festival
The 4A’s Strategy Festival, now in its fifth year, celebrates the strategist community and is home to the Jay Chiat Awards. Each year, the Strategy Festival brings together more than 250 account planners and strategists from agencies to discuss the future of the strategic planning discipline.
4A’s needed a robust solution to help capture, filter and display Tweets on their large projection screen. Particular attention was paid to the bespoke branded Timeline design and speed of display. Tweets to #4AsStratFest were shown on screen within seconds of being posted. This fast back channel of Tweets promoted and celebrated real time conversation during presentations. Keynote speakers took advantage of the real-time feed of Tweets by adjusting their presentations on the fly and answering audience questions without missing a beat.
In the weeks leading up to the 4As Strategy Festival Crowd Convergence worked with the venue and technical partners to ensure the Twitter Timeline was perfect. We provided remote training to 4A’s staff so they were comfortable and ready to begin as soon as they arrived on site.
