Global sports brand Nike kicked off the New Year by engaging Crowd Convergence to create a unique social media visualisation. The bespoke social wall was used at their first ever Australian Nike Training Club (NTC) event held at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne in January.
The NTC event was used to promote the new Nike+ Training Club app and celebrate some of Nike’s most loyal female fans. Attendees were invited to take part in a 30 minute workout lead by a Nike Master Trainer and featuring special guest tennis star, Vika Azarenka (@vika7). Nike needed a ‘fitspirational’ visual solution that would encourage and inspire the ladies to train harder whilst simultaneously promoting their brand and app.
Crowd Convergence developed a unique social wall to feature Instagram and Twitter posts on a massive screen behind the Nike Master Trainer and live DJ. Fans posted their images before, during and after the training session and were featured on the big screen. The best social post of the day won a Nike clothing pack.
Nike was thrilled with the creativity and service provided by Crowd Convergence. The visual impact from the social wall enhanced the promotion of the Nike and NTC brands and entertained attendees throughout the session. Crowd Convergence was proud to work with Nike on this pioneering event and hope to see more across Australia in 2015.
