Australian Rugby Union (ARU) Bledisloe Bay – Darling Harbour, Sydney
Crowd Convergence provided a custom build for the activation space whereby Wallabies fans were invited to become their hero…literally!

Our Social Booth became the vehicle for fans to face-replace their image into one of four custom overlays showing the Wallabies in full flight. Fans revelled in the opportunity to substitute themselves into the Wallabies anthem line-up or post-try team huddle. Images were shared to the users Twitter or Facebook account, with the ARU receiving organic views from the user and their followers. Fans were given a photo print-out of their image, complete with custom Wallabies branding. Fans were also invited to try their hand at commentating, recording a 15-second call of a memorable Wallabies moment. Results were highly animated, often hilarious and ripe for sharing to Twitter or Facebook. Safe to say Phil Kearns seat in the commentary box isn’t under threat!
