It’s raining maroon and gold with the launch of the #Bronxnation Facebook filters app, giving Brisbane Broncos fans the opportunity to show their colours on Facebook!
- Introduce a compelling marketing tool to activate through the NRL Finals Series
- Allow Broncos fans to boldly share their passion
- Leverage team success to engage fans, capture data and initiate membership conversations
The Brisbane Broncos have one of the most passionate fan bases in Australian sport. Their scintillating march to the NRL Grand Final has been awe-inspiring. With the launch of the Crowd Convergence #Bronxnation Facebook filters app, die-hard fans can now loudly and proudly show their colours. (And let’s not discount the bandwagon fans who’ve come aboard through the teams’ successful finals run!) The app is housed on the Broncos website, with fans invited to choose one of three Broncos-branded filters to add a splash of maroon and gold to their profile picture.
Since the launch of this Crowd Convergence social gem, there has been plenty of yee-hah’s coming out of Bronco’s HQ. The forward-thinking marketing chiefs who initiated this campaign have created a platform for 7,000 users to share almost 11,000 posts…all in just three weeks of the app being live. Those figures translate not only to data, but they also prop up future commercial discussions, showing the Broncos fan base to be a highly engaged, passionate group. The app has delivered the Club an interactive, shareable and branded tool which has clearly become a fan-favourite.
So with a stampede of parochial Bronco’s fans wearing their team colours with pride, we think the #Bronxnation Facebook filters app is worthy of its own premiership!
