Crowd Convergence partnered with Vogue Australia’s event tech supplier, We Are Technical, to enhance the conversation and promote Women in Tech at the Vogue Codes Summit and Live events held in Sydney.
Step 1: Audience joinin on the conversation
Crowd Convergence joinin was used to facilitate live Q&A sessions through audience members own smart phones. By entering the URL joinin.live/voguecodes, audience members were taken to a branded, secure and unique web portal where they were encouraged to ask panelist questions or provide comments.
Step 2: Moderation steered the direction of the conversation
Questions were moderated by Vogue Australia staff members before being pushed to screen, ensuring they were relevant and steered the conversation in a natural direction. With over 180 questions being asked across three Q&A sessions, plenty of inquisitive audience members were able to directly communicate with key speakers during the event.
Step 3: Social media amplified the conversation
The conversation was further amplified socially with a Crowd Convergence Social Wall being used on event screens between speaker sessions. Using our BOLD widget, Vogue Codes guests were encouraged to post their thoughts and images on social media using the official #VogueCodes hashtag. Out of the 740 unique posts from the event across Instagram and Twitter, 241 posts were approved and shown live during the event, ensuring audience members were engaged with Vogue both in person and online through social media.
