Melbourne Victory Football Club (@gomvfc) trusted Crowd Convergence to deliver their first ever in-stadia social media solution for home games at AAMI Park. The social activation ran throughout game day at 2014/15 A-League matches and gave passionate football fans an outlet to show their support and opinions.
Melbourne Victory wanted to enhance their social media game and fan engagement during matches and commissioned Crowd Convergence to provide a simple yet effective social wall solution.

Crowd Convergence supplied Victory with a turn-key package to enhance visual and social impact inside and outside the stadium. The crowd was socially engaged from the moment they entered the stadium precinct by projected Crowd Convergence Photo Walls displaying fan Instagram images. Inside the stadium Photo Walls and Twitter comments over live game footage were used to entertain the crowd and display fan support on the big screen. Advanced automatic and manual filtering was used to ensure the content displayed was not crude or unsavory.
Fans got a real buzz out of seeing their photos and comments on the big screen. Crowd Convergence displayed hundreds of unique fan photos during each match. Melbourne Victory were delighted with the creativity, service and support offered by Crowd Convergence and we look forward to further social activations in the near future.
